About me
I am Heike Peters (she/her), a licensed psychotherapist specialising in trauma therapy, neurofeedback-informed therapy and queer-sensitive therapy. My aim is to provide you with a safe and respectful space in which you can openly address your issues and find new ways to heal.
In my work, I combine the latest scientific findings with proven therapeutic approaches. Trauma-sensitive counselling is particularly important to me. I want to help people process traumatic experiences in order to regain more stability and quality of life. Neurofeedback-informed therapy is a valuable method for regulating emotional and physical reactions in a self-effective way.
Another focus of my practice is queer-sensitive therapy, in which I support people from the LGBTQIA+ community with their individual life realities and challenges. Against the background of specific knowledge about transition and queer life, I offer a safe, respectful space to discuss identities, relationships and personal issues freely and without prejudice.
In addition to German-language therapy, I offer psychotherapeutic counselling in English to allow international clients access to my work.
I look forward to accompanying you on your personal journey and working with you to create a tailored therapy plan.
